My dad upgraded his Ubuntu Edgy Eft to Feisty Fawn but the only problem is that he couldnt activate the Wireless card so he could access his internet connection. So I started Googleing and found 2 Ubuntu wikis(1, 2). And I started by following instructions of wiki 1, but after rebooting it didnt connect because it needed madwifi, thats when i followed just the configuring part of madwifi, i did not install anything else. But as you may see the package is for Dapper, so I did apt-cache search madwifi, and got as result madwifi-tools. I installed and rebooted and now the laptop can connecto to wireless.
